I found out that my land contract holder has a bank loan on the property i just paid off. What do I do?

I dont know if the loan was made before the land contract or after. I made the payments directly to the seller. A signed off quit claim deed is waiting for me at the contract holders lawyers office, but I need to address this outstanding loan and would like some advice on how to handle this with the lawyer.

well the banks got the lien on the property. if you're paid off with the old owner and he's made a loan on a contracted property, or didn't disclose the loan on said property, i'd say you have some legal recourse. i would go to a property lawyer and tell them your story.
